Day 24: I Want To Hear From You

TransientTransient

In an attempt to sit around the table and not simply hear myself, I want to hear from you. Yes, that means if you’ve been reading here for a while and have yet to introduce yourself…here’s your chance. I won’t think your weird for reading, so please don’t be bashful.

If you came over for dinner, I would want to know you & hear from you. I’ve already shared about so much and I feel like I’m dominating the conversation at the table. Maybe it would be easier to start with some questions to break the ice.

I think knowing your name is a good one and if you are a nickname person or abhor them.

What is your favorite way to eat Brussels sprouts? Oh you don’t like Brussels sprouts? What vegetable do you prefer?

What did you want to be when you grew up? Did it come true?

Coffee or tea?

How do you like your eggs cooked? Can you tell me about a great childhood food memory?

Can you tell me about how you came to Redeeming the Table?

PS: Don’t feel the need to answer each & every question–simply build from what you like.

PPS: if you find it difficult to leave a comment, simply log in with google or you can create a squarespace account.

  1. So many questions,so little time….hmm….I’ve been reading your blog for over a year. I think I latched on via a Twitter link and inCourage and Lisa-Jo Baker or Sarah Bessey or someone fabulous like that. You’re a refreshing rest stop on the world wide web. πŸ™‚ I don’t drink coffee…blech. I live in Western Canada where we already have snow. I adore Christmas. I’m a prairie girl. Always wanted to be a mom and that’s what I am x4. Been married 20+ yrs. Only have eaten brussel sprouts a couple times and love them with cheese sauce. Poached eggs on toast is my favorite comfort food. I drink tea for therapy and other than that,I’m a cold drink kind of girl. πŸ™‚

    1. Juanita–it’s grand to meet you. I love Sarah Bessey, and both of you prairie Canadian girls. I am right there with you on poached eggs on toast. The toast is buttered–right? Thank you for stopping by and I hope your day is cozy warm amidst the snow.Kamille

  3. I found you from a link on Elizabeth’s In the Heart of my Home. I found you again as a 31 Dayer. I love your feeling of home. I always wanted to write or blog, but never felt I had qualifications. After being married for over 25 years and having a high schooler, a college student, and a working graduate who all love the Lord, I finally felt pushed to be the mentor mom so many are looking for. A recent post captures my heart:http://www.thelostapron.com/2012/10/homemaking-is-a-privilege.html

  4. What is your favorite way to eat Brussels sprouts? Roasted for sure! They carmelize when cooked at 425 for 20 minutes with salt/pepper & EVOO.

What did you want to be when you grew up? Did it come true? Teacher, and it kind of came true.

Coffee or tea? Both. Depends on the time of day. Coffee in the morning. Tea in the night.

How do you like your eggs cooked? Can you tell me about a great childhood food memory? Scrambled. Favorite food memory would be going out to breakfast with my dad on Saturdays. He would take one or two of us and we would rotate Saturdays.

Can you tell me about how you came to Redeeming the Table? I don’t remember. But I’m so glad I did. I’ve been reading for over a year now. Great questions, Kamille!!
